We strongly encourage attorneys  to  file petitions, motions, and pleadings via the Internet using the Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) program.  Attorneys wishing to file documents electronically  must complete training and submit certain registration forms.  However, in some instances the training requirement may be waived.

• If the user is currently e-filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court (Southern District AL)
• If the user does not live in the State of Alabama and
  • the user is a Limited Participant (only files claims and/or reaffirmation agmts) and
  • the user is currently filing in another district or has completed the CM/ECF computer based training modules.

Attorney, creditors, or support staff that do not meet the foregoing criteria must attend and complete one of our regularly scheduled training sessions.
