On April 13, 2025, PACER users will once again be able to search cases by only SSN.  The new feature will not require a last name, but will have a CAPTCHA challenge to proceed.

In addition, PACER is instituting multi-factor authentication for any account that has ECF filing access.  Information on the change can be found on the PACER website.
